Our Lodge lead off the State Parade on Saturday June 5th. It was sunny, bright and hot. Our members and Float looked great, photos will be on site Tuesday June 15th. Congrats to all on our First Prize Float, String Band, and Overall Appearance.
Second Year in a row, Lodge 1896 #1 in the USA in total donations to Elks National Foundation with our donations totalinng $50,230. Congratulations and thank you to all our members!

Welcome to the Greater Wildwood Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge No.1896. The Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge is a members only organization.Lodge 1896 was issued its charter in April 1953 making this our 57th year.A special welcome to our fifty-two new members initiated on August 7,2010. Our Lodge is the 1st NJ Lodge to reach 3400 members.We have Social Quarters which include a kitchen and bar for the benefit of members and their guests. Weekly events include: Monday evenings-mixed shuffle board league; Tuesday-ladies shuffle board league and men's dart team; Wednesday- pinochle.

We encourage your participation in our various committees and activities. Attending our montly meetings is an opportunity to participate in the decison making process of our Lodge. Come often to the Lodge and meet other members who are proud to be members of The Greater Wildwoods Elks Lodge 1896.
Our normal meeting schedule is the 2nd & 4th Thursdays. All our meetings are held at our proudly maintained lodge at 109 West 1st Avenue in North Wildwood New Jersey. We are proud that we actively participate and support all Grand Lodge programs and fund raisers at the level we do, we really do try harder.
We are located in the Anglesea District of historic "Cape May County".Our growth in membership has helped us support the Grand Lodge programs and our local level charty programs. We also find the lodge called upon to provide additional programs and events for all of our members to become a part of, and well they do. Check out our Activities Calendar page to find activities that not only you, but hopefully your spouse, might want to participate in.
Our Lounge is open daily and offers all an opportunity to meet and talk to some really great people.
We strive to update this site bi-weekly with input from our committee chairmembers. If you feel you have additional input please e-mail us, we welcome all constructive input.
